Aphelion - Help for blocker players

In some situations, the users may be stuck in the game progression. If you think that you are in this situation, please read the following sections as it may be helpful :

 

  • Blocked in Chapter 5 : 

  • If you are stuck in the outpost and have no interaction to repair the rover, (you may also have white emails as it seem to be related) please do the following steps :
  1. Quit the game until reaching the console dashboard and close the game
  2. Relaunch the game

  3. The interaction should now be available

     

  • Steam Crash with DLSS : 

  • Some users face systematic crashes when using DLSS. Here is a workaround to fix this by replacing some dll files : 

  1. First, be sure to do a backup of the following folder elsewhere juste in case 

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Aphelion\Engine\Plugins\NvidiaDLSS\Plugins
  2. Dowload the following zip file : https://developer.nvidia.com/downloads/assets/gameworks/downloads/secure/dlss/2026.05.21_ue5.5_dlss4.5plugin_v8.6.1.zip
  3. Extract the zip file then go to the "Plugins" folder
  4. Copy the "DLSS" and "StreamlineCore" folders

  5. Paste them in the following location :

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Aphelion\Engine\Plugins\NvidiaDLSS\Plugins
  6. This should fix the DLSS crashes

 

  • Gamepass PC Crash with DLSS : 

    Some users face systematic crashes when using DLSS. Here is a workaround to fix this by replacing some dll files : 

  1. First, be sure to do a backup of the following folder elsewhere juste in case 

    C:\XboxGames\Aphelion\Content\Engine\Plugins\NvidiaDLSS\Plugins
  2. Dowload the following zip file : https://developer.nvidia.com/downloads/assets/gameworks/downloads/secure/dlss/2026.05.21_ue5.5_dlss4.5plugin_v8.6.1.zip
  3. Extract the zip file then go to the "Plugins" folder
  4. Copy the "DLSS" and "StreamlineCore" folders

  5. Paste them in the following location :

    C:\XboxGames\Aphelion\Content\Engine\Plugins\NvidiaDLSS\Plugins
  6. This should fix the DLSS crashes

 

  • Stuck with the rope next to a ledge :

    If you are stuck with the rope next to a ledge : Please try to use the X button (Xbox Pad) or Square button (PS5 Pad) next to the ledge your trying to Grab

     

  • Impossible to climb up or down the rope : 

    If you are stuck with the rope and can't move up or down, please use the RB button (Xbox Pad) or L1 button (PS5 pad) in conjunction with the left stick
